Arijit Singh was born on 25 April 1987 in Jiaganj, Murshidabad, West Bengal. He did his early studies from Raja Bijay Singh High School. Arijit Singh was very fond of music since childhood and due to this hobby, he was trained in music from a young age.

In early times, he learned music at home with his maternal aunt and grandmother. And when he grew up, he started learning music under the Hazari brothers Under. In which Rajendra Prasad Hazari taught him Indian classical music. His brother Dhirendra Prasad Hazari trained him in Tabla. Also, Arijit learned Pop Music from Birendra Hazari.

And when he was just 9 years old, he got a scholarship from the government for training in Indian classical music. Because of which he managed to master classical music. According to Arijit, he used to be a good student in his school time but he used to give more priority to music.

Talking about the beginning of Arijit's career, he participated in a show called fame Gurukul at the age of 18, in which he reached the finals and remained at number six. During this show, famous director Sanjay Leela Bhansali got an eye on Arijit Singh's talent. And he recognized the talent inside Arijit and sang "Yun Shabnami" for him for his next film Saawariya.

But later the song could not be released due to a change in the script. Later, the head of Tips Company "Kumar Taurani" also signed Arijit for an album, but the album could not be released for any reason. Now this was a period when Arijit was getting opportunities, but for some reason his songs were not being released. However, even in these difficult circumstances, Arijit never gave up, and trusted his talent.

He later participated in another reality TV show "10K10 Le Gaye Dil". And also managed to win the show. Now with the money he got through this show, he went to Lokhandwala, Mumbai in 2006 and built his own recording studio. Where he also started doing music composer.

He also used to make music for small advertisements companies for a little money. He first sang a song called "Neeve Na Neeve Na" for the Telugu film kedi. Due to which, they could not get much amount of rest. But 2011 was the moment that he had been waiting for a long time.

She made her Bollywood debut with the song "Phir Mohabbat" from the murder 2 movie. However, this song was recorded only in 2009. The song became quite popular among the people. And from his very first Bollywood song, Arijit started making his place in the hearts of the people.
